Stage 32 Theater at U-32

The theater program at U-32 will use many forms of theater experiences, both on stage and behind the scenes, to aid students in the development of favorable habits and attitudes that will prepare them for for a life that is steeped in performing arts and entertainment. The program shall be conducted in accordance with VPA, School Board, U-32, and theater program policies and regulations. At all times the theater program will be conducted in such a way so as to justify it as an educational and co-curricular activity.

Our students will learn and grow to be effective citizens. Working successfully in our society requires that a person learn teamwork, develop self-discipline, have respect for authority and embrace hard work and sacrifice.

The U-32 theater program is highly competitive at the regional, state and New England level of competition. Actors and Techies are expected to be at all rehearsals, performances and functions. Due to the nature of theater, auditions are mandatory and will be held prior to production rehearsals.
