News & Announcements

Hello U-32 Students and Families,

Instead of our traditional paper mailing, we've converted all of our communications to a digital format this year. Please be sure to complete each form for each U-32 student in your household.

First, a welcome letter from our new Principal, Rebecca Tatistcheff, Ed.D.

We are pleased to provide information about the Washington Central Unified Union School District (WCUUSD)'s new transportation app and program - My Ride K12. The district is using this app/website to keep parents informed about their student's transportation information. Once we go live, you will be able to see your student's pick-up and drop-off times, along with receiving notifications about bus delays or changes. Please use the attached Parent User Guide to download the app or use the program on your computer.

Our Community

Washington Central serves the five rural towns that surround Montpelier, Vermont’s state capital, with U-32 as our Middle School and High School. The towns – Berlin, Calais, East Montpelier, Middlesex and Worcester – are all classic, close-knit New England villages. The presence of state government, the home office of a national financial services company, a variety of post-secondary educational institutions, and a relatively well-educated population ensure that our students have many educational, social, and cultural opportunities.
